Position: Global Payroll Administrator

Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Full-time)

We are seeking an outstanding Global Payroll Administrator with expertise in managing end-to-end global payroll and contractor payments. This role involves working with outsourced payroll bureaus across various jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and EU. Whether based in our London office or working remotely, the Global Payroll Administrator will play a crucial role, reporting directly to our Global Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all payrolls.
  2. Organize and process payroll/contractor data efficiently.
  3. Manage payroll deadlines and monthly tasks.
  4. Prepare payroll reports and provide finance with monthly payroll data.
  5. Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations and maintain payroll security/confidentiality.
  6. Handle payroll queries, resolving or escalating as necessary.
  7. Continuously improve systems and processes for seamless coordination between HR, Payroll, and Finance.
  8. Keep payroll policies up-to-date and develop new procedures as required.
  9. Support project-related activities from Finance and HR.
  10. Assist with the expansion of global payrolls and other projects.
  11. Act as a point of contact for escalated payroll queries.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar payroll role or working with outsourced payroll bureaus.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with external parties and internal team members.
  • Strong process and planning mindset.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think outside the box.
  • Proficient in using different software systems, with excellent knowledge of spreadsheets and formulas.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
