Job Overview:

As a Video Editor at Seanet Technologies, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing visual narratives to life. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Manipulating and editing film pieces seamlessly to captivate the audience.
2. Collaborating with the production team to understand their needs and specifications.
3. Reviewing shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
4. Trim footage segments and craft a cohesive sequence for the film.
5. Inputting music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the overall production.
6. Creating both rough and final cuts with an emphasis on logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
7. Consulting with stakeholders throughout the production and post-production processes.
8. Staying updated on the latest editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Have proven work experience as a Video Editor.
• Possess solid experience with digital technology and proficiency in editing software packages such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut.
• Showcase demonstrable video editing abilities through a strong portfolio.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity in video editing.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing is a plus.
• Harness a creative mindset and strong storytelling skills.
