Job Description
As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in managing all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of accounting and financial practices, regulations, and have excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing, examining, and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other reports.
- Handling statements and payments of various taxes.
- Advising management on resource utilization, tax strategies, and budget assumptions.
- Providing internal and external auditing services.
- Coordinating the balance sheet audit.
- Allocating funds to various departments as per budget provisions.
- Checking bills in adherence to contract/order terms.
- Preparing and submitting periodic statements of accounts.
- Client management and documentation.
- Administering client interactions on accounting transactions.
- Maintaining clients’ documents/files and ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Preparing and updating the cash flow statement.
- Posting transactions on SAGE ONE accounting software.
- Handling bank instructions, reference letters, and bank drafts for payments.
- Performing other administrative/account functions as assigned.
Qualifications and Background
- B.Sc in Accounting.
- Chartered Accountant qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant.
- Basic knowledge of accounting procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and accuracy skills.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including experience with SAGE ONE Accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
