Job Description:
As a Pharmacist or Pharmacologist at Orfema Pharmaceutical Industry Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining Pharmacovigilance System (GPP): Implementing Good Pharmacovigilance Practices to monitor and manage the safety of medicinal products.
- Conducting in-depth patient interviews: Gathering comprehensive information to assess the impact of pharmaceutical products on individuals.
- Writing and reviewing adverse effects reports: Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of serious adverse effects in compliance with regulatory authorities.
- Safety update report and audit: Conducting regular safety updates on drugs and treatments, along with safety audits to enhance product safety.
- Providing information to health authorities: Collaborating with regulatory bodies and providing relevant drug safety information.
- Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development: Writing and preparing SOPs for the Pharmacovigilance Department to maintain high standards.
- Early warning signs: Signaling potential adverse effects of drugs promptly to the company for swift action.
- Liaising with stakeholders: Collaborating with Sales or Medical Representatives, Quality Manager, and Regulatory Authorities for effective risk minimization.
- Record maintenance: Managing files and records of adverse drug reactions and treatments.
- Additional responsibilities: Undertaking any duties assigned by the management to contribute to the overall success of the company.
