Key Responsibilities:

At the heart of Prodigy MFB’s financial operations is the pivotal role of the Finance Officer. The incumbent will be entrusted with various responsibilities to ensure the organization’s fiscal health and ethical financial practices. Key duties include:

  1. Budget Management: Skillful oversight of budgets and meticulous planning to ensure operational efficiency.
  2. Financial Reporting: Preparation of comprehensive financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  3. Legal and Ethical Compliance: Ensuring all financial transactions adhere to legal and ethical standards.
  4. Policy Development: Creation and implementation of financial policies to enhance operational effectiveness.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records for all daily transactions.
  6. Financial Audits: Contribution to financial audits to uphold transparency and accountability.
  7. Bank Transactions: Monitoring of all bank deposits and payments for accuracy and compliance.
  8. Financial Analysis: Conducting periodic financial analysis to identify and resolve potential issues.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, especially MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
