Position Overview:
As the Legal Counsel at Talent Spur Advisory Limited, you’ll be an integral part of the organization, offering your expertise in corporate law and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive Legal Guidance:
- Provide expert advice on a diverse range of legal matters to guarantee adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Document Drafting and Review:
- Skillfully draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
- Legal Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about legislative changes, conducting proactive legal research, and offering recommendations to mitigate potential risks.
- Intellectual Property Management:
- Advise on intellectual property matters, managing trademarks, copyrights, and the overall intellectual property portfolio.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, executives, and department heads to assess legal risks and formulate effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Dispute Resolution:
- Play a key role in resolving legal disputes, engaging in negotiations, mediation, and coordinating with external legal counsel when litigation is necessary.
- Policy Compliance:
- Ensure legal compliance by regularly reviewing and updating company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Corporate Governance Support:
- Provide legal support in corporate governance matters, overseeing filings, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Industry Awareness:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and legal developments, offering proactive legal advice and recommendations.
- Collaboration with External Counsel:
- Work seamlessly with external legal counsel to ensure effective representation and support.
Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; an LL.M is an added advantage.
- 3-5 years of legal practice experience, preferably in corporate and commercial law.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Familiarity with employment law and regulatory obligations.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving prowess with keen attention to detail.
- Effective multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Membership in the relevant legal association or bar.
